Steve Luther graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a B.B.A. in Information Systems and spent nearly a decade in management roles within the technology industry before transitioning into real estate, earning his license in 2002 and Broker designation in 2005. Over the years, Steve has attained numerous professional designations—including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), ePRO Internet Professional, Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Certified Residential Finance Specialist (CRFS), Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP), EcoBroker, Crypto Certified Agent, and more. His diverse expertise in sales, marketing, technology, and finance has laid the foundation for his unique approach to real estate.

After achieving success in both I.T. and real estate, Steve grew frustrated with the “status quo” of the industry. Too often he witnessed average clients receiving inadequate service, while high-net-worth individuals were taken advantage of due to lack of time or oversight. Determined to build a better model, Steve envisioned a firm that blended cutting-edge technology with personalized, concierge-level representation for every client.

That vision became reality when Steve partnered with former Music Industry executive Van Hohe and Real Estate Professional Ashley Collins—who would ultimately become his wife. Together, they created a real estate business focused on excellence, launching CHORD Real Estate, LLC. Today, CHORD delivers an unmatched white-glove experience for buyers and sellers, serving Premier, Sports, Entertainment, and International clientele throughout Middle Tennessee and beyond.

As their business grew, so did Steve and Ashley’s shared love for international travel. What began as a personal passion—exploring cultures, architecture, and investment opportunities abroad—has evolved into a central part of their professional mission. Today, they guide clients not only in Nashville but also across borders, helping them purchase and invest in properties around the globe. From Caribbean retreats to European pied-à-terres and emerging-market opportunities, Steve and Ashley are dedicated to making international real estate accessible, transparent, and rewarding for their clients.

When not serving clients or leading the CHORD team, Steve can be found traveling with Ashley and their three sons, diving into new cultures, or enjoying Nashville’s thriving food scene. A family man at heart, Steve invests deeply in relationships—both personally and professionally—always going beyond the expected to deliver lasting value.
